Rooted in the origins of ritual experience, weaving a variety of sound
sources (live, recorded, acoustic, electronic) and exploring the depths of bass sound as a full-body feeling. The minimal aesthetic brings awareness to the experience of sound as being: being as sound and silence, stillness and movement.

This live looping wizard has his roots in folk blues & wings in the stars of ceremonial medicine music. With the mantra of play in mind, he uses words and sounds to paint inspiring images into the minds of his listeners. Songs as stories and stories as portals into new awareness. Also fun.. Shredding high-vibe upbeat good times. 

Nicole James (Etheria) is an experienced embodiment facilitator of 7 years and recently took on the stage as an ecstatic dance DJ. Her journey started over a decade ago as a yoga teacher, herbalist and dancer. She brings magic to the DJ decks as an alchemist and healer—playing global, deep, bouncy, playful, percussive-melodic and ethereal sounds.

These journeys are weaved together using the 5 elements as guidance to create a diverse audible tapestry for dancers.

A powerfully effective and evocative fusion of traditional global acoustic sounds
with bass-heavy electronic production, Kallum's music compels listeners to move,
connect, and dance. He has been DJing since 2011. His original productions and
remixes have led him to share stages with David Starfire, Govinda, Equanimous,
and DJ Prashant. Kallum is grounded in Portland OR and has ambitions to share
his expansive musical palette across the world.

Having grown up in South Africa and been majorly influenced by the house music scene, Kerry has had a deep connection to music and dance since a young age. She aims to capture the minds and hearts of her audience with heart warming & fun vibes. She got her start behind the decks in the dust, for Camp Charlie, at Burning Man 2013 and was a resident DJ with the notorious Steampunk Saloon until their recent disbandment. Burningman is still her favorite place to DJ, from the Opulent Temple White Party, for a crowd of naked burners and Alex Grey at the foam dome, or for a crew of rowdy cheerleaders aboard a giant cock car. She loves to play a saucy mix of Bass House, indie Dance, nuDisco, Deep House, and wants nothing more than to boogie down with you!

mĕt′ə-tə-rĕs′trē-əl (noun)

a portmanteau of "metaphysical" & "extraterrestrial" meaning something which originates outside the ordinary three-dimensional space-time framework in which we normally function.

Much like the name, Metaterrestrial uses live performance to take the listener on a sonic journey that defies geological borders & defined genres. Using spoken word, visual & auditory stimuli, MT seeks to drive forward a much larger concept—That there exists much more than we can perceive with our two eyes.

Nah Mean? is a Yogi, Sound Healer, DJ, Music Producer, and Event Curator. As an ecstatic dance DJ he masterfully picks a selection of music specific to each event's set & setting ranging from house, downtempo, tribal, breaks, world, and rare groove but most importantly what is needed in the moment.

As a Sound Healer he is deeply passionate about creating vibrational spaces for individuals to reach expanded states of consciousness through sound to connect to their Highest Selves allowing them to heal their physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies. He draws inspiration from Ancient India & Mesoamerican cultures & calls upon wisdom from Hindu, Sufi, Taoist, and Buddhist philosophies among others.

He is also the founder/curator of Love Portal. A ceremonial gathering focused on creating vibrational healing spaces in the form of ecstatic dances, sound baths, and more.

When I play music, the sound waves ripple out like water.  All of our actions ripple out into the world, and kindness has medicinal powers just like music.   These sound waves are intended to reduce stress and create a sense of spaciousness so that we may more easily recognize our interconnection.  Each composition has a corresponding visualization to help with physical/emotional/spiritual healing.   May the musical meditations bring you a deeper appreciation of your goodness.  May we all continue to challenge ourselves to grow with honest self-reflection so that we may more clearly channel love.  That is why we are here.

RhythmetriX combines music with movement and mindfulness to rewire the brain and regulate the nerves through group drumming. This year, RhythmetriX will be  performing a special all-drums set of music to flow to. J Ursidae is a multi-instrumentalist, producer & DJ as well as leader of Ecstatic Dance DC. J's intricate and experimental yet dreamy sounds stems from his upbringing, an environment which fostered his need for musical exploration. With a professor of music theory for a father and a background in classical piano, music has been central to his life from the start.

The core purpose of Ursidae is to inspire love and movement through layers of hypnotically energizing tones and rhythms.
